- Few people know it, but the ground provides a subtle electric signal that maintains health
- We don’t all have the ability to sing out over a racing train, but we do have the power
- In looking for people to hire, you look for three qualities:
- It is nutrient-rich food the places a sparkle in the eye, luster in the hair,
- The desire that guides me in all I do is the desire to harness the forces of nature
- To be free from pain through an injection or a pill has nothing to do with
- We live and boast of what we own; We die . . . and only get a stone.
- The superior doctor prevents sickness; The mediocre doctor attends to impending sickness;
- Constipated despite a real food diet, detox, exercise, water (and more)?
- A man too busy to take care of his health is like a mechanic too busy to take care of his tools.
Avocado Do’s, Don’ts & Recipes
MOVE OVER, Thee Incredible Edible Egg, HellO avocado! Nothing against eggs–they’ve got shout outs of their own.
“To say that we love avocados wouldn’t even begin to describe the way we feel about this green, buttery fruit. We’re obsessed with avocados.” ~A Love Letter To Avocados, HuffingtonPost.com~
Avocado is my all time favorite for tasty fat and if need be, cheese replacement. It’s also the very reason a week never goes by without having at least one.
If Fat Were Fattening, I’d Be Fat
Aside from many being brainwashed into thinking they’re fattening, others end up tossing because they either don’t eat soon enough and their leftovers go bad.
Unless you’re allergic to them, avoiding them is a bit of a disservice to your body, your brain and your taste buds.
Brown Avocado Be Gone!
Just as sugar can oxidize your skin. Bananas, potatoes, apples and avocados also get brown spots too. Tho, most of us Baby Boomers grew up knowing how to prevent that. We simply added lime or did the, “leave the pit in” trick.
Thanks to About.com, there are 4 more ways to keep avocados fresh. These being especially useful for leftovers. However, as you’ll see in this video and this photo, some don’t appear to work as well as the 2 listed above. Of course one never knows how fresh an avocado really is, unless it’s local. Local is always fresher, and so it lasts longer.
You can’t tell in this photo. But in visiting my grand niece, I made her a piece of toast with mashed avocado and garlic over some smothered on butter of course. Not only did her eyes roll back, she devoured it. She loves avocado, especially knowing how good it is for her brain and precious lil body.
If you’re still not convinced, may this infographic help. If not, perhaps these 10 recipes with photos will tantalize the taste buds! They are what Huffington Post refers to as, “Avocado Breakfast Recipes That’ll Make Your Heart Sing.” And if you’re like most people I know. Breakfast is great any time of day–so that’s a triple YAY!
