- Few people know it, but the ground provides a subtle electric signal that maintains health
- We don’t all have the ability to sing out over a racing train, but we do have the power
- In looking for people to hire, you look for three qualities:
- It is nutrient-rich food the places a sparkle in the eye, luster in the hair,
- The desire that guides me in all I do is the desire to harness the forces of nature
- To be free from pain through an injection or a pill has nothing to do with
- We live and boast of what we own; We die . . . and only get a stone.
- The superior doctor prevents sickness; The mediocre doctor attends to impending sickness;
- Constipated despite a real food diet, detox, exercise, water (and more)?
- A man too busy to take care of his health is like a mechanic too busy to take care of his tools.
Top 10 Healthiest Foods… Which List to Follow (Part 3 of 3)
Vegan, vegetarian, omnivore, carnivore, herbivore, lacto-ovo vegetarian, pesca-vegetarian… which one are you? I happen to be a combination of the last two. Which ever you may be, do your best to not become fanatic – listen to your body instead. There is no one-size-fits-all to anything. I based my list on expert lists as well as what I like to eat. With that, here’s the last of my “Top 10” that I had to create for school. Also know that my list may evolve as I learn more.
Raw milk: There may be some of you out there who do not like “regular” milk (I was one of those), those who are lactose intolerant, and those that need more enzyme and probiotics in their diet, actually we all do. I include milk because it can be healthy in moderation, a great source of calcium, protein, Vitamin A & D, and omega-3. Having met the founder of organic pastures (they produce raw milk), I am now a regular drinker of it. Raw milk, I might add does not produce mucus like its heated homogenized/pasteurized vcounterparts.
Turmeric/garlic/onions: I overlapped spices with condiments and vegetables because they are all so important and used to flavor food, so I list them as one. Turmeric is great for arthritis, the liver, detoxing, and the eyes. Garlic is excellent for practically whatever ails you including: parasites, heavy metals, cancer, cholesterol, blood pressure issues, immune, and heart. It is anti-viral/microbial/oxidant, which also helps keep weight under control. Onions and turmeric are both anti-inflammatory, while garlic and onions are both excellent for cancer, blood pressure, anti-viral, anti-oxidant, and heart. Onions are good for asthma, bones, skin, and a great source of Vitamin K.
Wild Salmon: This is another food that is anti-inflammatory, good for the brain, heart, and memory. It is a great source of omega-3’s and because of the “good” fat; it is beneficial for blood sugar issues. It is also a great source of protein and minerals. “Anti-inflammatory”… is not only great to prevent disease, but wrinkles as well.
This “Top 10” includes more common foods that others may like or may be more apt to try. It is balanced because it incorporates main dish, side dishes, snacks, breakfast, lunch, dinner ingredients, fat, protein, and the oil and spices to cook. I also included 2 types of drinks, though I don’t recommend people drink while they eat.
