Got Protein?

By on December 17, 2012

Excess animal protein is responsible for leeching calcium from bones, thereby causing bone related ailments. Excessive calcium can build up in the tissues and/or joints as calcium deposits. These deposits lead to skin wrinkles, arthritis, hardening of the arteries, and other degenerative diseases. More than 70% of all kidney stones are formed from calcium. The components of animal protein and calcium (like any other food) pass through the blood, kidneys, and liver. Excess protein causes blockages throughout your body; it can also lead to thicker blood, heart attacks and stroke. Take President Clinton for example – he was on one of the popular high protein, low carb diets before he became quite ill and underwent major surgery.

FORGET THE FAD DIETS! You may look and feel better for a short time, but excess of anything will catch up to you one way or another. Think long term.

What is the average American eating these days? Let’s say a person eats eggs (chicken) and bacon (pig) for breakfast – for lunch they have a sandwich (turkey, chicken and/or cow), and finally come dinner time, a steak (cow). This is a ton of high protein food, all of which is extremely difficult to digest. And this doesn’t take into consideration the sticky carbs (breads and pastas). The amount of time it takes to digest meat varies from hours, to days, or more depending on who’s saying so. The health of your digestive tract also plays a huge role in when your body is capable of digesting and eliminating meat.

Needless to say, many actually expect to look and feel their best eating this way, day in and day out. Do carnivorous animals eat meat this often? My guess is they’re smart enough NOT to! Unless you are an athlete, and/or pooping several times daily and doing regular cleanses, the chance of surviving AND thriving are slim to none with a diet like this. Do not accept and expect premature aging as a part of life – nobody but you is responsible for ho well and attractively you age.

“Nothing will benefit human health and increase the chances for survival of life on Earth as much as the evolution to a vegetarian diet.” ~Albert Einstein~
