- Few people know it, but the ground provides a subtle electric signal that maintains health
- We don’t all have the ability to sing out over a racing train, but we do have the power
- In looking for people to hire, you look for three qualities:
- It is nutrient-rich food the places a sparkle in the eye, luster in the hair,
- The desire that guides me in all I do is the desire to harness the forces of nature
- To be free from pain through an injection or a pill has nothing to do with
- We live and boast of what we own; We die . . . and only get a stone.
- The superior doctor prevents sickness; The mediocre doctor attends to impending sickness;
- Constipated despite a real food diet, detox, exercise, water (and more)?
- A man too busy to take care of his health is like a mechanic too busy to take care of his tools.
Are You An Ageless Goddess?
“Goddesses Never Age is about agelessness, or ageless living, which is what you experience when you engage in life without fear that you’re going to fall or fall apart. That’s what centenarians do. As a culture, we are long overdue for a paradigm shift in what we believe about growing older. If you want to learn to thrive with each passing year, all you need to do is look to the centenarians to be your role models.” Dr. Christiane Northrup, OB/GYN~
I just LOVE this Ageless Goddess!
However, she grabbed my attention long ago with her Women’s Bodies, Women’s Wisdom book.
She’s the one who says our ovaries are the equivalent to men’s balls/testicles. Use em’ or lose em’! As in, not speaking up can lead to ovarian/reproductive type cancers. Just as she states, taking care of everyone else, but not yourself can lead to breast cancer.
Don’t know about you, but I prefer to take advice by not only a woman, but also from someone that walks their talk.
In a very small nutshell, here’s a snippet from her book, Goddesses Never Age.
5 Ways Centenarians Make Great Role Models
“They are rebels who don’t go along with the beliefs of their cultures. They create their own culture.”
I can dig it!!
“They don’t go to doctors. Many of their doctors are dead, and they tend not to align with traditional Western medicine.”
“They indulge in pleasurable rituals daily, like one cigar, a small scotch, or a brownie. The key is it’s a ritual—think tea ceremony not a mindless binge.”
3 for 3–that’s me!
“They live in the present and look forward to the future. They have events and new challenges to look forward to.”
Need more events–mental note taken!
“They do not identify with their peer groups or identify with age—they don’t like being around what they call old people, many of whom are younger than they are.”
I can so relate, whatever the age. Being no stranger to pain, I’ve been known to whip out my air violin. Our thoughts CAN make or break us.
“They live in subcultures that support maximizing their ability to live agelessly.”
Gotta work on this last one more, but overall I’m rather stoked to be on my way to being an ageless goddess!
“The biggest myth about aging is that we can’t do anything about it. That it’s a road to being decrepit, frail, and sick.” ~Suzanne Somers~
