Hazardous Toothpaste?

By on June 3, 2009

teethYou bet!! There are many all-natural toothpastes that leave your breath fresher than any major name brand toothpaste – and, these healthy toothpastes aren’t toxic. My favorites are Jason’s brand and Dental Herb Company. However, when I run out of my current tube I am giving serious thought to making my own.

Of the many natural toothpastes and homemade toothpaste recipes, there will always be someone who can find something wrong with it – use your best judgment, just consider staying away from  the conventional ones (Colgate, Crest, etc). With any toothpaste, like most other things… there is no one-size-fits-all.

If you want to live long AND healthy, begin reading labels on e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g. Conventional toothpaste has a warning label for a reason – this warning is especially crucial for children.

Did you know bad breath is more than a dental issue? Stay tuned for more…

fast forward to 12-21-12, as I finish reading over most my posts to relaunch my site, I HAVE begun making my own toothpaste. It is so refreshingly good and grounding. Serves to calm my stomach (when I eat it), freshen breath (when I let it melt in my mouth, and whiten teeth when I use it to brush with. Had I not made it so darn good, I would not have found the other uses for it!
