Superfoods From Around The World
gotta love Top 10’s when it comes to DIY health and beauty tips. Even more so when they’re compiled from around the world.
While some may be familiar, these are a great reminder on how easy it is to look as young as we feel, and vice versa! This, without expensive lotions, potions, tonics or invasive procedures.
But instead from the Top 10 Anti-aging foods, according to Daily Meal.com
1. Aloe vera – love chopping this in my smoothie and rubbing it my skin w/ or w/o a scratch or rash. It’s also the 1st ingredient in my Clean’ Lean-A colon/liver cleanse.
2. Dandelions – excellent for the liver–rather tasty when prepared just right. Another ingredient in my formula.
3. Gallo Pinto – a Nicaraguan/Costa Rican rice and beans dish. Together they are considered a complete protein.
4. Hemp oil – while concentrated is known to cure cancer and alleviate epileptic seizures, this one can be used in cooking and salad dressings. Probably great on skin too.
5. Noni juice – many overpriced multi level marketing sellers of this. Best to find the fruit w/o the package.
6. Red wine – YAY, tho no surprise.
7. Sheeps milk – I’ve had the cheese and it was divine! Higher in Vitamins A, D and E than cows milk. Also easier on the lactose intolerant. Of course, raw and/or organic dairy, in any form, is more nutritious.
8. Soursop – also known as graviola that is used for cancer. The leaves of this fruit also have internal and external benefits.
9. Tofu – not just any tofu. As it has been known to be a hormone disrupter, which, in a good way is also why it can be good for menopause. Aim for organic, sprouted and/or fermented, as in natto and miso.
10. Wild blueberry grunt – a pie like cake using wild blueberries. I’d find a way to do this gluten/grain free. Like using coconut or almond flour. Even better may be to just eat the blueberries wild and raw. Like the wild blackberries I picked in this photo.
You don’t need to detox to detox. Real food (outer 4-walls of grocery store) will get your body eliminating old waste. This alone will improve your quality and quantity of life. Not to mention, improve reaping face value.
