- Few people know it, but the ground provides a subtle electric signal that maintains health
- We don’t all have the ability to sing out over a racing train, but we do have the power
- In looking for people to hire, you look for three qualities:
- It is nutrient-rich food the places a sparkle in the eye, luster in the hair,
- The desire that guides me in all I do is the desire to harness the forces of nature
- To be free from pain through an injection or a pill has nothing to do with
- We live and boast of what we own; We die . . . and only get a stone.
- The superior doctor prevents sickness; The mediocre doctor attends to impending sickness;
- Constipated despite a real food diet, detox, exercise, water (and more)?
- A man too busy to take care of his health is like a mechanic too busy to take care of his tools.
Stroke Prevention and Warning Signs
“Up to 80 percent of all strokes are preventable through lifestyle factors such as diet, exercise, maintaining a healthy weight, normalizing your blood sugar levels and blood pressure, and quitting smoking.” ~Dr. Mercola~
There are some ways that perhaps a stroke may be harder to avoid, one being a head or neck injury. Never a neck injury, a head injury as child, but mostly having had my top front and back left rib, neck muscles and nerves removed that has caused problems in the neck. Some that come as a shooting pain to my head that darn near knocks me out (and wondering if I may be more at risk for stroke). This article explains how taking iron and Vitamin C can lessen your chances for stroke. Thankfully, I’ve been taking both now for several months. Iron for the severe anemia that perimenopause has caused and Vitamin C to help my body absorb the iron. Vitamin D level is another factor in preventing stroke. Article recommends the sun or Vitamin D3 supplements over D2. Also mentioned are tanning beds, but after getting hives from my one and only commercial tanning bed experience (to get rid of tan lines for a wedding), I’m neither fond of forcing a tan nor do I ever need one.
“There’s no such thing as a healthy tan, and that’s what people need to understand.” ~Gabrielle Union~
Below are 4 ways to know when a person may be having a stroke, and for children this video.
F = FACE: Ask the person to smile. Does one side of the face droop?
A = ARMS: Ask the person to raise both arms. Does one arm drift downward?
S = SPEECH: Ask the person to repeat a simple phrase. Does their speech sound slurred or strange?
T = TIME: If you observe any of these signs, call 9-1-1 immediately.
Having had a brother survive his stroke despite crazy conditions, I posted other ways to help prevent one. Just the simple act of sprinkling some hot cayenne (or African Bird Pepper) over food can help thin the blood (and rid your body of mucus) better than any aspirin. Going barefoot does the same thing.
“Forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair.” Khalil Gibran~
